LITs Trip

Albane, Louise and Thibault were part of the 3rd LIT session of the summer. Here are their stories about their 2 weeks programme.

"The LIT trip was an incredible experience which I will never forget.
The best part of this trip was probably the last nigth on a marvelous island with a very beautiful view!
We toured the island to discover how big it was, and then we jumped into the lake from a rock and we swam up to the neighboring island. After that, we did a route around the island. It was fun but very tiring! After dinner, we went to bed. Unfortunately, my sleeping bag was wet because in the morning, a canoe tipped and it contained the personal packs with my clothes! The next day, we were all very sad to leave this island wich we loved. I hope I will try again an other experience like that next year in CIT or advance LIT."

Thursday afternoon

Hey, It's Thursday!

So our time at camp is unfortunately drawing to an end, a Grey start to the day with heavy rain and wind, making our sleeping bags alot more comfortable than they really are, soon after flag raising the sunlight pierced through the clouds with the campers smiles along with it. The morning activities were in full swing from swimming at the beach to riflery.

The much anticipated and most adored meal of the week 'Taco Bar' was on every campers mind, its very tasty!. After lunch ,the programme staff each took turns too show what there programme area had to offer this afternoon through funny skits and raps. the craft shop was a popular choice this afternoon as the campers were given a chance to make wax candles, the boat house also had a good turn out offering campers to compete in a sunfish regatta!

Marine and Myself spent the afternoon working on french awards and taking photos, snapping memories of the french campers at different activities throughout camp.
